Q: Does rotating the device count as a step too?

A: Yes, with one exception: If in a specific situation you can rotate the device without the cells rearranging, this single rotation will not count as a step.

Q: When adding new cells, how do I know which color the newly added cell will have?

A: The newly added cell will have the color of one of its horizontal or vertical neighbours (seen from the position where you tap the screen, not where the cell will "land")

Q: During game play, how can I get back to the main menu instantly without having to finish the puzzle?

A: Tap the screen with two fingers.

Q: How can I restart a puzzle during game play?

A: You cannot. If you want to play the puzzle again, you have to finish it first. This is a feature that will probably be added by an update.

Q: Can I undo my last move?

A: No, you cannot. This feature has been requested a lot and will eventually be added by an update.

Q: Sometimes, the gravity seems to go the wrong way (e.g. left or right, but not to the bottom). What's wrong?

A: Please make sure that you hold the device in such a way, that the gravity sensors can decide, which way is up and which is down. This is not the case if you hold the device flat (parallel to the earth's surface)

Q: When changing from "MUSIC: OFF" to "MUSIC: ON", the device is frozen for about 3 seconds. What's that?

A: No need to worry, that's completely normal. Twizzle loads its game music into the memory, rather than playing it from the storage. During the short "frozen" moment, the music is loaded into the memory.
