Clearout

High Speed Two Player Fun on 1 Device

Clear out your stack of chips faster than your opponent in a retro-styled board game ambiance!

Clearout Details

Clearout is a fast paced challenge of concentration, pattern recognition and reaction for two human players. The game is played on one device that is placed between the two opponents.

Each chip on the board has three attributes, a symbol, a colour and a stripe-pattern.

The goal of each player is to move chips from his clearout area onto the top of the chips in the shared drop area. A chip can only be dropped onto another chip if the two have at least one attribute in common. One a chip has been removed, a tap on the empty space brings up a new chip.

The player who has first cleared out 50 chips from his area wins.

FAQ

  • Q: Is it possible that sometimes a player can't clear any of his chips?
  • A: Yes, that can sometimes happen and is intended (because of its interesting game situation). At least one of the players can always make a move though.

  • Q: Bluegrass Country Music, why?
  • A: Together with the graphical retro-styling and the high-speed challenge, the soundtrack fits exactly to build the Clearout groove! :)

  • Q: What if I don't like country music?
  • A: Just turn the soundtrack off or listen to your iPod music during gameplay.
